Cantate is pleased to announce that, newly for our 2018-2019 season, JEREMY M. CRAFT is joining our staff as an assistant conductor.  His primary responsibility will be working with boys with changing and changed voices.  Mr. Craft serves as the Director of Choral Activities at the University of Lynchburg (until recently known as Lynchburg College), teaching undergraduate conducting, piano, voice and music education courses.  Mr. Craft also serves as the chorusmaster for Opera on the James.

Previously, Jeremy served as choral director at Jefferson Forest High School and Forest Middle School in Bedford County, Virginia, for ten years.  During his time in public schools the choral programs significantly grew in quality, quantity, and enthusiasm.
